A tip to any bride traveling to India for your wedding shopping make sure to give yourself plenty of time. You need a minimum of two weeks. I was there for 11 days and felt super rushed and didn’t get to look at as much as I wanted and felt dissapointed with my overall shopping experience because I had so little time to enjoy the experience. I was also rushed into decisions because of the time it takes to get alterations done on top of the long travel time in India to get from all the different shopping areas. I ended up with a reception outfit that I don’t love but travelled all the way to India for so I’m “stuck” with it. Long story short, give yourself plenty of time and be sure to go with someone who knows what they are doing and are familiar with wedding shopping in India.
